ICT Sector Engagement Towards a Green Economy: Pathways to Sustainable Energy for ALL
This thematic workshop will look at the efforts undertaken by the ICT sector to increase energy efficiency and to assist in achieving more effective energy production, distribution and consumption by end users. Link to the program of the event

Avoiding e-waste. Moving to environmentally sound life-cycle management of ICTs
The session will brainstorm on possible ways of establishing partnerships that link environmentally sound management of end-of-life computing equipment into ICT development programs, including financing, infrastructure strengthening and education on national, regional and international level. From WSIS to Rio+20: The role of ICTs in sustainable development and the green economy transition
The facilitation meeting of Action Line C7 e-Environment will take place as open debate, concluding the activities of the day and identifying contributions that the WSIS process can make to Rio+20. Link to the program of the event
