Regional workshops – “IMT for the Next Decade”

ITU-R Working Party 5D (WP 5D) will hold a series of workshops on “IMT for the Next Decade” during 2011. These workshops will focus on the topics related to refreshing the vision and market forecasts for IMT that were developed in years 2003 and 2005 respectively and on assessing the current perspectives of the future needs of mobile broadband wireless to be supported by IMT for the decade 2012-2022. Consideration of  the evolution of the IMT-Advanced technologies and a view of future traffic forecasts could also be part of these workshops.
